Cards for Golfers is an on-course card game that makes any round of golf more fun and strategic. It's designed for 2-4 players and works with many different playing formats.
Before a round, each player receives a set of cards. The cards you are dealt are yours to keep during the round, and each card can be used once. There are two different types of cards: HELPFUL cards and OBSTACLE cards.
The helpful cards can be played at any time, and as the name implies they are beneficial to you. Helpful cards can get you out of trouble or give you an advantage on a hole when you need it the most. Simply put, they make golf a bit easier. The other kind of cards in your arsenal are the obstacle cards. These cards make things harder (and sometimes hilarious) for one or more of your opponents.
Since the cards are made of plastic, they are waterproof and very durable, so you can safely keep the cards in your pocket, bag, or trolley during the round - without worrying about damaging them.
Cards for Golfers is not a training aid, and it's mainly meant as a fun way to spice up a golf round. However, being put in unusual situations and sometimes being forced to use club you normally wouldn't could also help improve your game in the long run. But even if it doesn't make you play better, you'll hopefully have more FUN on the course - and in the end that's what's important.
